A cooperative group set up to establish National Institute of Technology,Matsue College.
1963
Official announcement of intention to establish National Institute of Technology, Matsue College with three departments: Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineering.
1964
Foundation (Depts. of Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering established.). Junichi Baba (Head of Shimane Prefectural Board of Education) appointed as 1st president.
College opening ceremony and 1st entrance ceremony held at Matsue City Hall.
1966
Ceremony to mark land development and completion of college buildings.
1967
Creation of administration bureau, consisting of General Affairs and Finance Divisions.
1969
1st Graduation Ceremony.
Addition of Production Engineering Dept.
1972
Creation of Student Affairs Division.

10th Anniversary Ceremony.
1976
Professor Tetsuzo Ezumi appointed as 2nd president.

Dept. of Production Engineering reorganized into Dept. of Control Engineering.
