About temporary measures for examination exemption fees due to disasters in regions subject to the Disaster Relief Act

The Organization of National Colleges of Technology, Japan (OIST) will implement the following temporary measures for Reiwa 4 year (2022).

Entrance examinations subject to temporary measures

Reiwa 4 year (2022) entrance examination (for those who will complete the application procedures after the date of the disaster)

Details of the measures

Exemption from the examination fee

Target

 Applicants whose main financial supporter lives in the area covered by the Disaster Relief Act in 2021 and was affected by the disaster, and who have received a certificate of disaster issued by the municipal government.

Application procedure

The following documents (1) and (2) are required at the time of submission of application documents. For details, please contact the following address.

If you wish to apply for an exemption, please do not pay the examination fee. If you have paid the examination fee, you will need to request a refund.

(2) Accident certificate, etc. (Document certifying the extent of damage to the residence based on the local government’s on-site survey, etc)

Application for a refund of the examination fee that has been paid

The examination fee will be refunded to applicants who have already paid the examination fee (and completed the application procedures after the date of the disaster), but whose main financial supporter lives in an area covered by the Disaster Relief Law in Reiwa 3 year (2021) and was affected by the disaster.
