About Internships
Internship Program for 2021(Reiwa 3 year)
Response to COVID-19 Expansion (update: Aug 7, 2021)
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support for the internship program at our school. Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus infections since July, our school has decided to decline internships in areas where a state of emergency has been declared. (We will be contacting companies that have already entered the competition in order to inform them of our decision.)
As a result, all internships offered in Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Kanagawa, Osaka and Okinawa prefectures, which are in the area of the emergency declaration until August 31, 2021, will be cancelled, including those offered in September, and the same measures will be taken if the area is expanded in the future. You may also participate in the online implementation of the program. If the training site includes any part of an area where a state of emergency has been declared, you will be subject to decline.
Travel through the declared emergency area (not getting off the station and not staying overnight in the relevant area even without activities) will be covered by the permit. Thank you for your continued guidance and encouragement.
Response to COVID-19 Expansion (update: Jul 30, 2021)
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support for the internship program at our school. Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus infections since July, our school has decided to decline internships in areas where a state of emergency has been declared.
If the training site includes any part of an area where a state of emergency has been declared, it will be covered. However, the period of practical training (including travel days) must overlap with the period of issuance. Permission will be granted for travel through the declared emergency area (i.e., not getting off the station and not staying overnight in the area even if not accompanied by activities). Thank you for your continued guidance and encouragement.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support for the internship program at our school.
Every year, the school encourages fourth-year students to participate in internships during the long holidays so that they can experience first-hand what they have learned in their regular studies.
If you are interested in accepting a student as a trainee, please contact the Educational Affairs Section of the Student Affairs Division using the form below or the form provided by the company. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Please note that if COVID-19 spreads, the school may decline the participation of students at its discretion. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Desired period of training
Summer vacation period: At least 5 days between Aug 13 and Sep 30.
* The internship is supposed to be approved for credit, but we need more than 5 days of practical training to get credit, so we would like to have more than 5 days of practical training.
* Please let us know if you would like to have practical training outside of the above period, or for less than 5 days, and we will inform the students.
* In the case of online internship, more than 5 hours of practical training per day is required to earn credits, so I would like to have more than 5 hours of practical training per day.
・ All dates are online: More than 5 hours online for 5 days
・ Some dates are online: For example: 1 day of 5 hours online and 4 days of 8 hours on-the-job etc.
